licensed naturopathic physician.
Naturopathic Medicine Treatment
When you schedule your initial appointment, your first step will be to
complete a detailed health questionnaire which asks you about the various
facets of your health and life. This is an important tool for you and us to
discover the factors affecting your total health.
First Clinic Visit
In this 60-minute visit, we will explore your complete health history.
Appropriate laboratory testing will be scheduled if necessary.
Second Visit
This visit commonly begins with a physical exam, followed by a thorough
review of findings from the lab testing, physical exam, and the initial
visit. A personal treatment plan is discussed, including what to expect as
you heal.
Follow-Up Visits
Your next follow-up will be in 3-4 weeks to ensure your health is
improving as expected. Modifications in your treatment plan may occur.
Follow-up visits will depend on your progress toward your health and your
specific needs.
Preventive Health Care Visits
Our goal is not only to help you improve your health now, but to
prevent future illness as well. It is much easier, more sensible and less
expensive to keep your body healthy than to allow illness to take root and
then work to eradicate it. Coming in for periodic preventive health care
visits is a valuable way for us to stay current with new developments in
your health and to prevent future disease.

Chinese Medicine Treatment

licensed acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist.
When you schedule your first appointment, your first step will be to
complete a detailed health questionnaire which asks you about the various
facets of your health and life. This is an important tool for you and your
Chinese Medicine practitioner to discover the factors affecting your total
health.
First Clinic Visit
Your Chinese medicine practitioner will spend 60 minutes with you
exploring your health history, your chief concerns and goals. After
examination of pulse and tongue, palpation of points and meridians, an
acupuncture treatment is given. A treatment plan usually involves a series
of weekly acupuncture treatments, nutritional recommendations and
customized Chinese herbal formulas to take care of the health issues.
Follow-Up Visits
Acupuncture is commonly more effective when received on a regular
basis, weekly for at least 6-10 treatments. Follow-up with treatment of
Chinese herbs is commonly every 2-3 weeks.
Chinese Herbal Medicines
Chinese herbal medicines are customized to meet your individual needs.
Herbs are dispensed as powders, pills, or raw herbs to be made as a tea.
Our herbs are of the highest quality and are verified by lab analysis to be
free of heavy metals or pesticides. All herbal formulas are combinations of
several herbs which, when put together, have a specific effect upon the
body. All herbal formulas are adjusted regularly for improved effect. |
